What is the Opposite of Sin?

Sin. It's not just a "bad thing" that we each do every once-in-a-blue moon, it's actually the very thing, the very choice that separates us from the eternal, living God. Romans 6:23 reminds us that "the wages of sin is death,..." Behind sin is not just badness, or evil, it's Death itself, an entity that will eventually be thrown into the Lake of Fire (Revelation 20:14).


Sin includes a multitude of things that result in death. Idolatry, greed, laziness, gossip, apathy, pride, adultery, lust, theft, and the list is practically endless. Ultimately, sin is direct rebellion against God, whether intentional or not.

Most of you already know this, in fact I'd wager that just about anyone reading this article here understands completely what I've just stated above, so this is where we switch gears.
